In this course, you will learn how to
- Make plans and cutting list
- Plan your workflow
- Choose the right tools/material for production – or how to optimize production for the tools/materials you have
- Extra class: A short history of design & wood joints – optional, upon registration)
- After completion of course, possibility to make the designed furniture in the workshop via private class
We will teach you the first steps of designing furniture through a simple project, a small cabinet. You can bring your own project as long as it’s not a full kitchen, but one piece of furniture. Please check with us if your project is doable within the classe’s framework. We limit the size and complexity to be able to keep up with the group.
Who is it for?
This course is from absolute beginners to intermediate level.
What do you need to bring?
Paper, pencil, ruler and your undivided attention! 🙂 Also your laptop with Excel or Google sheets access can be very useful for the cutting list section. We will provide the rest.
